Default Minor wiper annoyance.

2000 4x4 4 door blazer. I am having a weird issue with my wipers only when I use the mist option. When I hit the mist option they will cycle once and then go back up the windshield about 3 inches. They do this almost every time. However, this does not happen when I use intermittent, high or low speeds. It isn't a huge issue, just annoying.

That's probably the cracked solders on the wiper board, it causes all kinds of issues.

Is that board a GM only part? I was pretty sure it would be the board. Funny enough they worked perfectly fine this morning.

If they worked fine today it's for sure the board. You should be able to get it at any parts house. It's called a wiper motor pulse board or some will call it a wiper motor pulse module.

Thanks guys. I might yank mine out and print out the picture and give that and the board to my mom. She has been building electronics for almost 40 years and is a ninja with a soldering iron. I can solder but I not very well.
