Misfire in cylinder 3

Misfire in cylinder 3
I have a 99 4x4x4 I've got spark and compression so that leaves fuel. I was wondering what could cause just one cylinder to lose fuel. The DTC wasn't very helpful as it continually says refer to "blah" and "blah is either unavailable or I just don't know where to find it.
Anyone know the approach I should take?

Be specific about "blah" and maybe we can clear that up for you.
Have you read through any of the P0300 threads? There is one particularly large one that pretty much covers the gambit of causes and checks that can be done.

The text constantly refers to what would seem to be other chapters in a manual. For example step 11 says to refer to fuel injector circuit diagnosis. There are nine different such "go to" instruction in the procedure. I was manly just wondering if they were available and I have over looked them.
I'll read the P0300 thread, but much of it doesn't apply as I have one cylinder misfiring not random/multiple.

The checks still apply regardless of whether it is random/multiple, or defined to one cylinder. You just don't have to look at the whole picture.
The point of any diagnostic chart is to work down through it. Some of those sections may not be needed when you actually go through the diagnosis step by step answering yes or no to each step. But if you just want to read through it all and see if it gives you ideas, then it likely isn't going to work out for you unless you get a subscription to AlldataDIY, Mitchell1, some other similar online service, or get a hold of a set of factory service manuals.
If you are simply looking for a magic bullet and do not want to actually diagnose the problem...
