More Heater Problems
Hi Gang, I have a 2001 Jimmy (hey, same thing)and I have the automatic climate control. If I set the temp at 82 degrees, you could weld with it, but once you move it down even a little, let's say 78 it blows cold/cool air. This happens in automatic or manual. It almost feels like the thermostat is stuck half way, but that wouldn't explain the blast of hot air at 82? Any ideas? thanks for reading my 1st post

RE: More Heater Problems
I doubt thats the problem. I did a super flush and put in a new thermostat and that helped a little but I think I found the problem, I was futzin around with the controls inside and the temp setting ****, I was putting pressure on it and I noticed if I pushed it a certain way the temp. corrected itself. So I figure I'll be replacing the cabin control unit, I'm sure thats a cheap unit...LOL, but for now I'll live with it seeing summer is around the corner and I'll have all summer to locate one and hope I'm right.
