Well my engine I built for my 4 door ZR2 project is going to my dad after I found out the frame has to be modified for a v8 swap on a ZR2 frame. It’s ready to drop in. Only thing I haven’t bought is a heater core.

 

I bet your dad is happy!

 

I sure hope he’s happy with it. I’m hoping with my modifications and Amsoil I can get him 18-23! lol

 

Well the 98 engine dropped in fairly easy but I don’t think I’d ever try a full assembled engine again it wasn’t horrible, but really couldn’t get it to balance good.

Now for the headaches. 98 engine and 2000 have different bell-housing bolt thread pitch. 98 are 3/8x16 and I assume the 2000 are Metric bs! Searched high and low for my bolts and all I could find was 2 of them. So now I’m trying to find bell-housing bolts that are long enough to do what needs done. Problem I’m having is hardware store bolts aren’t full thread.
