Default My seats

Hey guys. i hope this is the right place for this. I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer LS 2 door. There are 2 handles on the side of both front seats. One is for reclining the seat and the other handle moves the entire seat forward so you can get people in the back. My passenger side handle works fine but the drivers side doesn't. When i pull the handle back it just moves the back of the seat forward like the reclining handle, it doesn't push the seat forward. I don't know if this is supposed to be like this or if it is broken. Maybe someone with a 2door Blazer can help. It would be so much easier if i didn't have to readjust my seat every time people move in and out the back. Thanks

*MOVED* to 2nd Gen

Is your driver's side power by chance? If so you have to use the power to slide it forward. Sucks, but that's why I make people get in the passenger's side, even if they're sitting behind me.

Otherwise sounds like something is hanging up. The handle on the vertical part of the seat should not only recline the seat forward, but release it so it can slide forward.

Another reason why I say the backseat is as useless as a Camaro or Mustang in the 2drs.

No all my seats are manual. Like i said it works on the passenger side but not the drivers side. Its really weird to because i pull it and it moves the back forward and than just stops. I push it as hard as i can but it doesn't budge. That's why i wasn't sure if it was made like that or it's really stuck.
I don't mind people getting in and out the passenger side. I was just wondering if there is some kind of easy fix or any for that matter. When i first got my truck i found two short blue springs on the floor behind my seat. They look like seat springs but i looked under the drivers seat and i didn't see any place they could fit. I also checked under the passenger and didn't see any comparable springs. Maybe they are part of the seat. If you guys need me to post a pics 2marrow, I can.
