Scratches head, no belts in your tranny. 2/4 band?
Burnt reverse clutches causing forward shift problems?

Ask them if they replaced the Raction Sun Shell while they had the tranny out. Should be a TSB on it, and the kit comes with new bearings and sun shell. The factory sun shell is junk in some model years. When a sun shell goes out you lose reverse, 2nd and 4th gears.

Hey han, is that a TSB for 2005 models? It didn't make much sense to me either but I got the impression the guy dealing with customers was not the guy that does the work or knows what he is talking about. Hopefully when I go to pick it up I will get a better idea of wth they really did. He may have said band, not belt, that could be my fault but I remember belt.

I don't remeber which model years it covered.

Hope everything is good to go when you get there. Get a copy of the invoice/bill/work order, what ever they call it. It should list all the parts they replaced, and should have a discription of the labor hours too. Post up and we should be able to disect it if needed. Plus you should keep a copy for your records. Just in case....
