I'll 2nd the distributor. I had an oil leak before pulling the distributor to replace my LIM gasket and none after I replaced the distributor gasket. There didn't appear to be much if any distributor gasket when I pulled it out. It could also be a valve cover but if you've never taken them off they usually don't leak unless a bolt loosens or something. Rear seals are a ware point and often leak so if you don't see any oil on the top of the engine it's most likely either the rear seal or the oil pan. The above is the unscientific results of 40 years of fixing my own and friends cars. I am not a real mechanic and do not have grease permanently embedded in my nails and hands.

Mine has the rear seal thats leaking, but I can't tell a difference between oil changes on the dipstick. What bugs me about it, is that you can smell it slightly if the window is rolled down, and I come to a stop or something because it hits air going down the road and sprays on the exaust pipe
I cant stand that smell...

Anyway, correct me if I'm wrong but isnt there an oil sending unit back there. Check it out to if you can.

I had the plastic line, going into the back of the air intake, pushed on to far. I had it pushed over the bevel, on the pipe, and it was sucking oil up though the valve cover. How I found this out was that I noticed oil on the bottom of the motor. I thought maybe it was the vavle covers, then I followed it up and discover that oil was on top of the vavle cover. Now, this is where it got weird, so i took the intake apart and sure enough, right were the line coming from the left was, it was sucking oil up through the vavle cover crazy, huh?
