I'm having the same problem with my 98 GMC jimmy. I've replaced the Ignition module, coil, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, Cam & Crank sensors and it still won't run. Fuel pressure is about 62 while cranking. Only difference is mine wont start at all. I pulled the plugs and checked spark and it appears to be real weak. sparking about 70-80 times per minute while cranking. I'm guessing this is my problem but i don't really know were to go from here to fix the problem. Lots of new parts...I'm also getting the P1351 code. Previously I was getting the P0339 & P0341 which were both fixed with the new cam and crank sensor. The funny thing is mine would start before i replaced everything, it wouldn't go over 20 MPH and it acted like it was flooding out. Looks like several people have similar issues but there aren't many solutions.

yep, i agree with touringmike, it sounds like the plug wires, my wife's 2002 blazer had the same problem, it would start fine, idle fine, rev up fine in park..........but as soon as you put it in gear and lightly press on the gas pedal it would act like the timing chain was off a tooth and had no power, so after checking all my worst fears and thoughts of hours of labor, i eventually checked the plug wires and they pulled right out of the boot, no silicon core left inside just black dust, sometimes with all the controllers and sensors and tech nowadays it still can be the basic stuff you overlook.

Being as it starts with booster cables and you have checked the elictricals, I would pull the starter and have it tested. It may be grounding out and the extra juice from the booster pushes it enough to start.

Had this happen on Buick Park Avenue.
