Default need help blazer over heated and died!

i have a 98 blazer. i was away for 2 weeks and my family thought it was a good idea to use my car. they drove it and it over heated like 2-4 times and now it wont start. i got a buddy of mine to bring over his rad odb reader(almost **** myself when i saw it) and it had codes. The codes are p01117, p0300, and p1114. Also he looked at each cylinder and it says that 1,3,and 5 were all misfiring. 5 like 1000+times 3 like 600+ times and 1 like 100+ times. if anyone could help me out here i would really appreciate it. I think it might be like a timing problem and then maybe the head warped after it over heated. just help please.

P0117 and P1114 both point to a faulty ECT (engine coolant temperature) sensor or a problem with its circuit. This could contribute to the misfiring. Does the coolant temp gauge on the dash actually work?

I would want to test compression on that side of the engine to assess the damage. Will the engine turn over?

ok well i threw a fresh battery in there tonight and got it started and got it home but it ran like total crap. it had the same running prblems as when i first got it with the fuel filter so i will check that and replace the thermostat for good measure and go from there. i will keep you updated. ty

try changing spark plugs you can damage spark plugs when the engine over heats

ok well today we thought it would be a good idea to work on the coolant system. we changed out the thermostat and everything went good. Then we flushed the radiator and refilled.Thats when it went bad. We ran it for a min or two and all of the sudden a huge cloud of white smoke started pouring out of the tail pipe. Now it wont start and i think we may have blown a head gasket. If this sounds correct let me know.

Possible, but you could have blown the lower intake manifold gasket into one of the intake ports. A compression check will let you know.
