Default need help with my blazer

blazer will stop moving when i turn the wheel too sharp. i thought i had stalled it pulling into my parking place but its running fine. think it might be the power steering pump but can't say for sure. has this happened to anyone on here? i could really use some feedback with ideas. 99 s-10 blazer 4x4
