I have a 2000 2 door ls im havin trouble getting my torsion bars set right i replaced the wheels to havin 2 inch backspacing all other specs on the wheels are the same as factory but my question is i need to know where to set my torsion bars to if i crank them to clear the wheel my truck slams into bumps rather than rollin over them but when you drop them the wheels hit the inner fender i see all sorts of blazers that are stock and their still sitting higher than mine what is factory height and what else can cause a slamming my mechanic says that its not the shocks cause they only keep the truck level

That is one very long sentence lol
Your shocks are designed to absorb bumps. Go push down on the vehicle and rock it, does it keep rocking or does it stop pretty quick? That's a quick and dirty test for your shocks.

2" back spacing... That is just ridiculous. You need to stay in the 4-6 range with your wheels or you will be looking at MAJOR suspension modifications just to be able to turn.
What size tires are you attempting to run with the 2" BS rims?
