Default 2000 Blazer need to tighten front end load new Torsion keys and bars?

Is their a heavy duty torsion key or bar you can put on a 2000 blazer. My front end is weak and I have a poly plow on it. I always crank up my torsion bars when I put the plow on but they need a little more stiffness. The truck has 115k miles and could be weak in the bars or keys?

Find yourself a set of zr2 bars and swap those in there. They are way beefier and alot of people swap them on their trucks just for that reason. Should be a good way to go to give you the extra support you need for the added weight of the plow. You should post up some pics with the plow on there don't see that to often!

I am also thinking of putting on Timbren bump stops but I just cant understand how once the plow is on I will be riding on these bumpstops. Not just bouncing off them but actually riding on them. That has to cause major vibration and who knows what other problems. I have a meyers 6.5 poly plow which is the correct blade for a lightweight truck.

Yeah I would say you would want to keep the front off the bumpstops. If you search around you can fnd the zr2 bars fairly cheap. They are a direct bolt in with no modification required. I would reccomend and alignment when you install them is all.

I would also look into heavy duty shocks if you don't have them already.

They are designed for that purpose. They are bigger than the factory bumpstops. I have a set on the rear of my truck for towing and they work well with no vibration or problems of any kind.
