Default need instrument cluster wiring diagram 96 blazer 4X4

my son changed the wiper motor on my (or) his 96 2 door 4X4 blazer. in the process he disconnected a big wiring plug next to the wiper motor. now the dash instuments are dead. the fuse #4 (gauges fuse) is ok and has pwr to it and from it but none of the gauges work except the gas and amp gage. i am pretty sure there is something wrong in the plug he took apart but visually i cant see anything. i need more of a diagram than haynes manual has to track down what happened and where all these gauges get there pwr and grounds from. also if this plug goes to the computer and he didnt have the batter disconnected would it damage the computer and cause it to have this problem
any help with a diagram or troubleshooting will be appreciated

give this website a look http://www.wiring-diagram.com/
also check that when he plugged it back in. the pins on the plug didn't pull or push out of the sockets. and check for broken wires at the plug ends. (right at the crimps)

if its all good pull the positive cable for about 15 min. and the bcm or the pcm fuses for same time

ok i checked all the pins and sockets and wires, none broken or puled out or bent. disconnected the battery for 1/2 hr and pulled the fuses. no help.even pulled the instrument cluster out to take a look at it. all looked good. the only gauge that works is the voltage gauge. still thinkin he cooked the the computer, but dont want to replace unless i have to. does anyone know if disconnecting a big wiring plug without disconnecting the battery can cause the computer to fail like this?
