so today i decided to take the front grill off my truck!
there is no transmission cooler, just 2 lines then go wavy (is this normal)
when i push the pedal to the medal the truck goes in neturel.
ABS light is on?? ( i think its the speed sensor) -(would this affect the transmission with thinking its in neturel?

The back and forth loop of metal line is the power steering cooler.
The stock transmission cooler is in the passenger side tank of the radiator.
Having the ABS light on should not affect the shifting of the truck.
How is the transmission fluid level and condition? Beyond that, check out the Tech Article (DIY) Index link in my signature and look for the 4L60E common problems thread. See if anything there fits your problem.

none of the problems with it are listed there..
i have not changed one spark plug and fuel filter..
the tranny shifts well thru all gears just when giving her the gas to the floor..
fluid is redish brown no bad smell ( i think the tranny fluid may need to be changed )
other then that im stumped.
