Need some Help!
I have a 1998 Chevy blazer 4 door 4x4 with the original v6 vortec in it and i recently swapped trans its the same one but the stock one wouldnt go into over drive. Now this trans i thought was good is messing up. The only way i can pick up speed quick and get power out of it is if i only have the pedal 1/4 of the way or else my Rpms will race up to 4500 and my speed will SLOWLY rise but some times i have to take my foot off the pedal for it to shift. its like its sticking or something?? Can anyone help me? what do i need to do? Hopefully some what of a easy fix im a student in highschool and dont have much money.
Thank you

Where did the 'new' trans come from? Did you verify that it worked before going through with the swap? You could have swapped one bad trans for another.

The Trans came out of another 1998 4x4 blazer a guy was parting out. i did notice the torque converter was BRAND new so i dont know if they went through the trans and messed something up or if it was bad? i Hope not that was a challenge getting that old trans out and new one in. The guy did take it right out of the truck for me the night before i picked it up so it wasnt just sitting around.
