Default needs replace? please help

Hi everyone, first of all im new
i just bought a 1998 jimmy with 130 000 km. I get it Wednesday.

My question is do i need to get the radiator taken care of - no BarsLeaks or is that issue fixed in 1998?
Also is the intake manifold gasket needed to be upgraded?
(rriddle3 brought up those two points for a 1996)

Default RE: 1998 jimmy

My first question would be are you having troubles with the cooling system. If the cooling system has not been flushed yet, then it is over due for a flush and refill. Even if it was flushed once, chances are it's time again. You can read up on that subject with a search.

On the intake manifold gaskets, are they leaking? If not, I wouldn't tear into them.

And welcome!!
