New to this
Have a 02' LS w/ 128,000. Wondering if anyone might know an easy, inexpensive way to restore loss horsepower. Also, what is that trucks horsepower out of the factory? Has the stock 4.3 vortech w/K&N cold air intake and flowmaster exhaust. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Factory HP rating was ~185 at the flywheel, but I just saw a dyno test on a 4x4 that tested 140HP at the rear wheels. For power gains, first do a complete tune-up, then browse through the Performance & Brainstorming section for ideas.
You didnt happen to see that dyno test on Spike tv's TRUCKS did you. I think I saw the same thing. They ended up putting a 'vette engine in it, producing a final dyno reading 0f 313 hp.
I installed new plugs and wires about 1 year ago. Let me tell you the one plug, drivers side, was a pain in the *** to remove and install, got the job done though. Just did an oil change. Truck also has, brand new radiator, water pump, thermostat. Just does'nt seem to have the ***** it used to. What does the seafoam do, and how would you do it?
