P1153 - HO2S Insufficient Switching Bank 2 Sensor 1

Bank 2 Sensor 1 is the passenger side O2 sensor on the tail pipe right in front of the 'Y' before the cat. I bet you are getting some pretty bad fuel mileage as well... I'd get it replaced and I recommend that you don't cheap out on them. Get GENUINE AC Delco sensors either from your dealer or from an AC Delco store if you are lucky enough to have one close by like me. The sensor will cost you ~$78 from an AC Delco store. Which isn't all that much more than the crap that is Bosch and the rest of them (speaking of O2 sensors for GM vehicle applications only).

Default RE: new code

It usually takes afew key-on cycles until all of the emissions checks are completed.

On to the codes:
P0153 HO2S Slow Response Bank 2 Sensor 1
P1153 HO2S Insufficient Switching Bank 2 Sensor 1

Looks like your passenger side O2 sensor is shot. I wouldn't go with anything but AC Delco O2 sensors. You can grab them online from RockAuto.com or if you are lucky enough to have an AC Delco retailer near you, from them. The price usually runs right around $70/each and you are looking for an AFS-105. I have never had anything but bad luck with any of the aftermarket O2 sensors in GM vehicles and have actually seen a brand new Bosch sensor trace along side a brand new AC Delco trace and the activity of the AC Delco sensor blew the Bosch away.
