Default New Door Hingepins - sm bushing TIGHT!

I bought new Dorman hinge pins #38419. Did not install them yet.

The large bushing spins freely on the pin. But the smaller bushing (which goes on the pin tip end) is super tight. Cannot slip it on the pin with my fingers at all.

Is it supposed to be that tight?

Maybe the smaller bushing was slightly crushed into an oval shape instead of being truly round like it is supposed to be. They shouldn't be that tight, but it should free itself up over time if it isn't damaged even more during installation. If you can get it together and use plenty of grease on it, I would think it would be fine.

In both packages the smaller bushing is very tight. Aside from a mixup at the manufacture (wrong bushing or wrong pin), mighta been slightly worn casting when made. Neither looks crushed or out of round.
