New Fuel Pump, No start

New Fuel Pump, No start
Just replaced the fuel pump in my 2000 Chevy Blazer in mid August. The truck sat for almost 2 years before so I caught it up on everything needed; belts, oil change, complete fluid flush, etc. I drove the truck til Thursday when we thought the fuel pump failed. I was out today, checked it over, switched around a few relays and it started up finally. Drove it around, came home, went back out to leave, and then no start. Cranks but nothing. Fuel gauge goes up then drops to zero, oil pressure gauge stays at zero (oil pressure is there, always full of oil.) Now I'm just stumped. This is my DD so I need it running. What could be the problem?

it's an OEM replacement from Jim Butler Chevrolet here in MO. I'm going to replace the inline filter tomorrow and see what happens there. The relay can't be bad since it worked in another setup.

if its an delphi or ac delco, then im not sure what it is. usually people buy cheap pumps, which fail

best way to start is doing what the link above says
thats the best and only way to test the fuel system
and its way better then guessing

Yeah, I'm going to follow it. I went through and tested everything. I did not replace the inline filter, only the one that came with the pump, so I'm replacing that anyway. It's already sundown here and not being in the garage (My DSM has that spot, yeah hate away) so tomorrow I will be diagnosing everything and will report back. Wish they were as easy as DSM's to work on. Fail.

So something is not right. Went through, replaced the filter, it started right up. I let it run for like 5-10 min then took it for a quick 10-15 minute drive. Got home, let it sit for almost 2 hours, went out, would not start back up.
Why would it start one time, then just not? Fuel pump has to be fine, same for the relay. I'm confused AF on this.

No fuel pressure at all. Yay, replacing another fuel pump in 30* weather! Awesome!
