i have a 2000 blazer 4x4 4.3, im having an issue, maybe somebody can help, my gas gauge will not work, maybe its a common problem, also ive been looking into camming it, ive heard this...Comp Cams 56-420-8 Comp Cams 'Magnum' Hydraulic Roller Camshafts will fit, willit is the real question? also should i get stronger valve springs? any information would help.

Yeah, the fuel gauge is a somewhat common problem. You could try a double dose of Chevron Techron Fuel System Treatment Plus in the next tank of fuel to see if it is just dirty.

As far as the cam/springs go, I recommend you give a call to Comp Cams tech line. They have always been a good help when I have used them in the past.

do you think i will throw a code? i live in nys soo inspection will be a bitch lol. and im also looking to get a chip tuner. any good companys for cheep? just wanna add a little power.

Cheap and power don't really go hand in hand. There are many threads on cheap performance upgrades covering intake, exhaust, etc. It all should start with making sure that your truck is operating properly to start with.

In most cases, you have to pay to play. If you go with a cam, you will have to get the PCM flashed to make the most out of it. PCMforLess, BlackBearPerformance, Wait4me, etc are all tuners that should be able to make a tune to get the most out of the cam swap, but neither will be cheap.
