Default No electrical power in truck. Help!!!!

Possible alt issues-No Power in truck

Yesterday afternoon I go outside to start my car up, I put the key in and I hear one ding (noise made when key is in ignition) then I go to crank and then nothing. no click, no turnover,no nothin. No power anywhere.

So I disconnect battery and reconnect still nothing, then out of nowhere my dome light comes back on. So I shrug my shoulders and go on about my day. Then later as Im taking my wife home from work it does it again and the engine shuts off as Im turning out of her job. At this time I remove the battery and check the fuseable link and its good. A little loose but still good. By the time we tighten everything up lights come back on. Once again I got in and started driving.

WELLLLLL, it happened 3 more times that night and after everytime it happened this is what I noticed.

1. It always happens after a turn (VERY ODD)
2. Everything is really hot after engine shut off
3. alt gets EXTREMELY hot and ECU is bit warm
4. seems like everything comes back on after things cool down.

Can anyone help me out??

Sounds like a ground problem. The ground may be loose or corroded

Check all that you can get to... starting with the main one, (the battery ground)

It may help to look up a wiring diagram too.
