It is winter now and i am forced to drive with cold feet. An old post on the site talks about repairing the gate door within the ducting by cutting a hole, finding a broken vacuum actuated gate door or axle and fixing and then patching the access hole afterwords. Not doing this means tearing the whole dash apart. Someone was going to post photos of where the hole was cut but never did. Someone used a mirror successfully to see what was going on. I need more info on this problem on my 98 blazer.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Ya, that was the thread alright. No useful info there I think as I cannot find photos.
So can tell me something about your fix that might help?

When I close the vents individually there's enough air leaking through the defrost to safely drive, but that's as far as I got
