Exclamation No power to fuel pump/ fuel gauge pegged at fuel

I need help. I have a 1996 S10 blazer. It just stopped running. I have replaced the fuel pump. Still will not start. I dropped the tank again rewired the pigtail and checked for power. Connections to the pigtail are solid and tight.
The fuel guage is pegged at full.
I have changed the fuel pump relay & checked the fuses.
What else could be cutting the power to the fuel pump?
Thanks

usually if the gauge is pegged at full,or way over its a bad ground.
