Noise from the COmputor
Hmm. All I can say is I know that freaky things can happen when the battery is low on charge or strainingto carry a heavy electrical load. Maybe giving the battery a good conditioning and charge would help. I gotthis battery charger at Wal-Mart when I was having some problems:

it has a conditioning cycle and a slow charge cycle that put my battery back in good shape. You can also use it to check the alternator (kinda nice).
A pal of mine was getting some wierd sounds this weekend and it turned out to be his fuel pump sensor was screwed up leading the computer to get all out of whack. That was on a Dodge truck though.
