O2 sensors are a pain in the neck!

I must say, trying to get any room to remove the original O2 sensors out of these trucks is a royal pain in the neck! Mine on the passenger's side of the engine is the one that I have to remove and theres no room to get in there. I have an O2 sensor socket, but the pipe is so close to the transmission pan. Does anyone know any "trick" for this? I've tried searching the forum, but found nothing but threads with other questions about the O2 sensors. Thanks!
BTW, its a 2004 4WD 2 door, if that helps.

Try putting a universal on the socket, and an extension off of the universal, to a 1/2" drive ratchet. Gotta think outside the box ;) Run the universal and extension forward, next to the sensor. Probably help to heat the sensor first too.

you should be able to use a 7/8 (i think thats the size) wrench to get it out.

Mine are welded in so I cant get them out unless I use ayctiline torch to remove them.
