Default Odometer problem

My Odometer went out on my 2000 blazer today. The odd thing is that the trip odometer still works. Any suggestions? All other gauges function normally, and my blazer has the digital odometer, the trip button toggles between the two.

This is typically caused by a faulty cluster. The diagnostic procedure for this type of problem requires a Tech2 or equivalent scan tool to access the cluster and perform functional tests.

I should have mentioned that the odometer still displays 80997, so it seems like it's not getting a signal. A few people I asked said to check for a bad connection, broken wire or short. Someone also seemed to think it might be a PCM issue. Any other ideas? Also, I noticed that this happened immediately after I had my tires rotated at discount tire, any chance they could have knocked something loose?
