Default Oil LEVEL sensor?

Asking for a friend who has a second Gen but an earlier one then my daughters.
Do these 4.3 engines have a Low Oil Sensor on them?
He walked out to a puddle of oil under his car and sometime today he will clean and see if his Oil Lines popped or something else. Just looking for what else could have happened. His lines were not leaking before this Puddle.

nope there isnt any sort of low oil light on the dash but a lot of the time the lines that go to the oil filter leak worse and worse with age.

I was pretty sure it was a Hose, just thought I'd ask about other options.. It was the one easier hose to do. The longer one to the Engines block; Looks like you have to lift the engine on the drivers side to get at it. Any advise? He Might as well do both before he has another problem
