P0141B troubles
I have a 2001 blazer 4wd. which shows code P0141B. It has 3 sensors- 1 in the left bank pipe, one in the rt. bank pipe, and 1 after the converter. I replaced the 2nd bank sensor (with a Bosch- everyones favorite not to use). I checked the wiring- I have 12 volts at the pink wire, ground on the brown. I didn't check the purple or tan wires as I wasn't sure what to look for at these wires and didn't want to short or burn something out. Can anyone help me with this problem before I go "nutser" than I am already. I'm in NY and my 10 day temporary inspection is about expired. I originally replaced the sensor, cleared the code with a scanner and had to drive 150 miles with no code displayed before I could get it inspected. Just as the trip odometer turned 150 miles, P0141B poped up. Short of a large stick of dynamite how do I fix this?? Thanks!

P0141 is a heater circuit fail in Bank 1 Sensor 2 That means second sensor in line of exhaust flow. counting from the driver's side. If you have 3 sensors, then it's after the cat. If you have 4, then it would be the one before the cat. There is no bank 2 sensor 2
I have no idea what the B means. So I hope you kept the old O2. Pull the Bosch from pass side and put back the old, checking for 12v, then same after the cat and install the bosch. |
