Thanks for all the help and tips so far.
I talked to the Dealer this morning.
Dead miss on clyindars 1 and 2. They fire about every other time.

What is good.
Vacuum good, no leaks.
Fuel injectors good, and firing on time.
Compression good.
Basically it comes down to spark. The coil is good and the spark timing is good. I have replaced the spark plugs and spark plug wires. Right now the dealer thinks the trouble is the cap and rotor. I'll replace them tonight and see what happens.

I feel like an idiot.
I replaced the cap and rotor. Runs like a top now.
At least I know the other stuff is in good shape.
Its snowing out, my truck runs great again, all is golden in my little corner of paradise.

This has been very useful everyone!Yet, I have the exact same problem, and have done everything the same except for replacing the coil, and the ICM. However, I have a 95, and she's also throwing an O2 code which has been needing replacement for about two months now. Could replacing the O2 sensor really help, or should I move on with coil and ICM. Thanks again.

I would def replace the oxygen sensors. You can get a misfire from a bad o2. Since the o2s control your fuel trims, this could be a source of a misfire.

Sometimes when we are looking at stuff, we expect the worst, so we overlook the obvious. I did the same when my wires had burned and I was idling rough. I thought it would be everything else BUT something so simple.

I'm glad it was such an easy fix though, even if it took a while to diagnose.
