P0410 - A different issue
I've been getting the P0410 error code for a few months now. I need to get rid of it to pass inspection. The 30A fuse in the box below the battery was blown, so I determined I would just replace the pump with the standard replacement one. My only goal is to really get it to pass inspection this year.
I took the old pump out and hooked it up to a power source. It seems to spin fine. I checked the fuse relay, that is fine too. Feeling ticked off because I did not check the old one before getting it out of its housing (I live in upstate NY so everything is rusted over) I decided to just put the new one in and hope that it was possibly something wrong with the pump, even though I doubt it.
I am expecting the check engine light to pop back on as soon as the computer gets the codes.
Anyone have any recommendations on how to proceed?
Thank you very much everyone.

Did you also check the smaller fuse in that box? Another possibility is besides the pump running it needs the vacuum valve to open on the line coming out of it. The vacuum source line runs from the switch on the pump up to a T-fitting on the rear drivers side of the intake, might want to check that too, that line might be broken/rotted.
