P1345 code after cold start up
I dont normally drive my 99 Blazer in the winter because it is a show truck but since my wife had a wreck in her 99 Jeep we have had to drive it. The temps here in Indiana are -3 right now and have been in the teens for a few days and when i try to start the truck i get P1345 code" I know what the code is" But it always goes out or stays off after i wipe the code. But this morning it wouldnt even crank, Battery was at a full charge just no crank. I popped the key a few times and it suddenly started like normal, code come on and went off. My question is could the P1345 code and its many issues that could be causeing that code cause the truck not to start and if that is the case why did it start after i popped the key a few times?

RE: P1345 code after cold start up
If there is an intermittent fault in the CKP sensor, it could cause this code and cause a starting issue. The engine will run without a CMP signal, but will not without a CKP signal.
