P1415: Check Valve Removal and Diagnosis
Hello,
I got a pending P1415. I attempted to remove the Bank 1 check valve to no avail. I then easily removed the apparatus that attaches the valve to the manifold. I then clamped the valve into a vise and used a 7/8" spanner on the apparatus. Wrench just slipped off, no bulge at all. Sprayed a couple times with WD40. How do I get this valve off?
I also blew both directions into the valve. One way is more restrictive (facing the manifold) than the other, but does not shut the air flow completely. Check valve is bad? Right?
Thanks!
