Default P1509- 96 Chevy Blazer

Recently having troubles starting, extended cranking, and it coughs to life. Only does this when it sits for a few hours and cools down, or sets overnight.

Have recently changed the TPS and the IAC sensors, also have taken the the intake manifold off, and inspected/cleaned the fuel injectors, and inspected the spider injection system for pinholes or other problems, and all looked fine, so i re-assembled, and put in a new gasket around where the fuel rail-intake manifold meet. All new fuel lines, new gas tank, and new fill tubes.

Vehicle runs fine once its started, just having problems starting, also need check engine light to go out because i am close to inspection time

Have also checked voltage to all system components via a scanner tool.

Engine idle - 875 rpm
IAC volt - 840
Driving idle - 740 rpm

Fuel Pressure holds 60 psi, and does not drop overnight.

Any further questions just post please

A vacuum leak could cause the P1509 code.

Did you look at the cap and rotor? I would assume you did if you went to the trouble of taking the upper intake off. Also, I dont think a visual inspection of the spider will tell you much, Just changed mine, the old one looked like it shoulda worked...and didnt

Vehicle was parked for 2 years, and ive had it on the road for about 9 months now, with random easy fix problems.

a month or so before it was parked the cap and rotor were replaced, with new. also a new spider injection was put in with an injector, prior to parking.

Ive also checked the vacuum lines along the top of the engine, and all seem to be fine without leaking, i will take it to a shop to have them confirm that none of them are in too bad of shape.

Thanks for the info any further input is appreciated.

I would recommend plugging off all of the vacuum ports/lines as a diagnostic step, including the line to the brake booster, PCV, and the EVAP purge solenoid.
