paint color help

Default paint color help

Ok so I got a 2001 blazer it's like a dark red alomost like a maroon color and I can't seem to find a paint that will match it perfect and I already looked in the glove box for a paint code and there is no sticker or anything in the glove box.. and there's no stickers in the door jams is there any other way I can figure out the color I bought dark cherry mettalic and thats to bright of a red.. any help would be appreciated

this is the company I use and the color is exact match. Expensive but worth it 2001 Chevrolet Blazer Colors of Touch Up Paint

Go to compnine.com and enter your 17 character VIN. Print out the results and save them for future reference. It will contain all RPO codes and the paint code.

They are actually pretty cheap on the price.. a ready to spray gallon of paint for 349...
try making a gallon of paint for cheaper than that with the color and reducer, and have a good quality paint like they provide, it wont happen.

You can also bring your truck to a paint supply place or even some body shops and they can colorscan it with a cool little machine and it'll give you a paint number that will be closer then even the color code printed on you truck.
