Any suggestions on where the best place to get parts for my 96 Jimmy 4wd? I know there is a lot out there and then again there are some that seem to be hard to find! Thanks,

I apologize for the parts question. I just read one of the rules that says not to ask those types of questions in this section. Being new should not be an excuse , but it's all I got!

No worries, we'll move it to the right section.

Many parts even for the older Blazers can be sourced from the normal autoparts dealers.
Service material should be available nearly everywhere (NAPA etc.)

The usual resources work fine. Rockauto has a great catalog as well as LMC Trucks.
Then there is the salvage yards which can yield good results when you know what to look for and what weaknesses there are.

Blazers are usually sturdy builds but have parts which fail always on the same spot.
So it is a good idea to ask before buying expensive stuff 2nd hand or from the salvage yard.

Thanks for the help. I really like LMC. Seam to have a great selection and like the way the lay out their pages in diagram form. Helps figure out where parts go and what some parts are.

Rock Auto is always a good start for comparison shopping. There is normally a 5% discount with them available on the forum.
