Default Parts Catalog

Anyone know of a parts catalog to download or look at online? I'm specifically looking for a 1998 S-10 Blazer. I need to find out what something is, availability, and so forth.

There are tons of auto parts catalogs online, both OEM and aftermarket. Here is a GM catalog: Genuine OEM Auto Parts Chevrolet ? New GM Parts Keep in mind that with a 1998 vehicle, some parts are no longer available through GM, and some of those are not listed in the catalog anymore. What part are you looking for? Pictures would help us.

Thanks for the link I'll check it out. I don't have a picture to post because I have misplaced the part.

It is a vacuum actuator that mounts on the AC/Heater plenum and the rod that it actuates. I removed it while trying to remove the air door actuator. I've since pulled the dash to replace the heater core and air door actuator and I'm ready to reassemble but for the life of me I can't find what I did with that part.

My Blazer is a 4wd LT with the heater core that stands vertically. It has automatic HVAC controls.

I have attached where the piece mounts.

I tried the link but when I tell it S10 Blazer I get a message to enter my trim level but no selections to check or how to proceed. I don't think that's what I'm asking for.

For my 1995 Camaro I have a parts "book" in PDF that lists parts, descriptions, and part numbers and shows a parts diagram of the various sections of my car.

Just search under blazer, select 1998 and trim options will be there...

Nalley GMC Parts is another good one for photos and diagrams. Google it. Enter your info. Go to:

HEATER ASM
(C42,C60); (C60)
Drivelines: 2WD; 4WD; AWD;
HTR: AIR CONDITIONER,FRONT,AUTOMATIC,ELECTRONIC CONTROLS A/C AUTO ELEC CONT(C68); AIR CONDITIONER,FRONT,MANUAL CONTROLS A/C MAN CONT(C60); HEATER,OUTSIDE AIR,WITH DEFROSTER(HEAVY DUTY) HVY DUTY HTR(C42)

I then found the following which I believe may be the part that you want (the part missing in your photo).

ACTUATOR. AIR CONDITIONING (A/C) Vacuum Control
ACTUATOR,MIXER VLV. Required: 01
For: E106(03) (1998-1998) (1998 - 1998).

Looks pretty popular. Try calling local dealers. Nalley isn't cheap.

Fits:

I do appreciate the help guys.

I was able to find the part on a different site than Nalley's but found it just the same. I've ordered it today from my local dealer, who generally gives me the wholesale price, and they can have it here tomorrow.

I still wish I could find a downloadable parts book for my Blazer like I have for my Camaro, but at least the online sites are out there.
