Passenger dome lite door switch
'02 4dr, 4wd:
Dropped the glove box door in search of a rattle and found that the wiring harness to the passenger door dome lite switch is missing.
Does anyone happen to have pictures of the dash out or at least where the wire/connector for the passenger door dome lite switch comes out of the dash harness?
I looked and looked and could not find an unmated connector anywhere behind the glove box.
I am assuming there is one....is this right?

The front door switches are located in the latch assembly on your truck, not on the sides of the dash. This started happening somewhere in 1999 or 2000 with the addition of the content theft deterrent system. Why they left the standard switch in the side of the dash and not just a simple plug... Good question.

swartikk: Are you kidding me??!!...."Oh Bother" as Whinnie The Pooh would say.....
Well, now I will have to go look and see if the driver's side is the same way....just to be sure. But this makes sense as the dome lite comes on when the passenger door is opened....at least I think it does....gotta go look again.
Thanks for the info.
