After viewing a Craislist post for a set of "like new" Blazer leather seats I found out a very important fact. For those that purchased their trucks new - the passenger seat had a tag that read " for the passenger's heated seat function to operate the safety belt must be fastened. See owners manual for more information." After owning my truck for 6 years now, swapping in junk yard switches, being upset but not really searching for repair, I now know my seat isn't broken haha. Obviously when I read this fact I ran outside and sure enough we have a warm *** after all. Haha I hope this will help someone else in the future.
