Petcock drain hose?

Question Petcock drain hose?
Hey everybody, does anyone know what size hose/tubing will fit the petcock opening on the radiator? Mine doesn't seem to have one, I'm gonna pick up some hose from the hardware store so I can make less of a mess when I flush the cooling system. Thanks for the info fellas!

On my '00 Jimmy a 3/8" ID hose fit nicely.
