I got the new fuel pump for my 99 blazer replaced it, but the issue i am having is the harness that came with the new pump does not match the old harness..the grey and black wire obviously go to the pump, but the previous harness had 2 purple wires for the fuel gauge, the new harness has one black and one purple...im wondering if there is no polarity and it does not matter..i am having trouble comming to terms with the idea that i ordered the wrong pump....if anyone could give me some advice on this it would really help me out.
