Okay where do I start. I bought a 4 door 4wd 96 blazer (starting to become more trouble then it's worth). After I bought it, I was having my mechanic diagnose everything that was wrong with it so I could fix up the little things. Fuse 2(CTSY) was blown. So we replaced the fuse, and it fixed the dome light and horn, and keyless entry. Now here's where things get complicated. The dome light would not go off. So I said no big deal I can go without a dome light, but I need my interior lights, so we took the bulbs from the dome light out. After we did this, a loud annoying beep started to go off. We had to take off part of the dash and found the sensor causing the beeping noise under the stereo, we shut the sensor off. The next day, the battery died. I had the car jumped by a neighbor and it started up. Then they battery died later on that night even though nothing was left on. My friend who is a mechanic got his battery jump box, and when he connected it to the battery, it sparked. From what I understand, this means there is a drain. And if it's true, then it's definitely fuse 2(CTSY), because the car ran fine before replacing this fuse. So I'm pretty much lost now. What can I do? How do I fix this? Should I reconnect the sensor and dome lights and start from step 1. I'm almost certain the battery and alternator are fine, I'm going to get a diagnostic on them to confirm this. If the drain is from fuse 2, how can I fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anyone with any suggestions please respond. Thank you

I have the same problem. My vehicle wont start when fuse 2 is in, Stars fine when its out. But I need that fuse for my horn. Mine is 96 as well
