Lanny is so right. There is nothing worse than going through the entire pump change and having the problem up under the plenum.
At the bottom of this article there is a photo attachment that shows what a gage that hooks to your fuel filter looks like. If it does not fail there then there's a problem up top.
Trust me it is worth the effort.

Just re-read, problem up top will also kill cat's.
