Default Plugs and wires and a suspension question.

I have a set of plugs and wires that I bought and never installed on my 2000 -s10 zr2 pickup. Do you guys think I can put these on my 96 blazer? Also, on the blazer it seems like every bump in the road feels like in running over boulders full speed! Are my shocks causing this? they have about 130k miles on them.

What's the brand and model of the plugs that you have? At 130k miles, I'd replace the shocks under any circumstance.

Default RE: Plugs and wires and a suspension question.

I am sure that the plugs and wires would work on a '96 but the style of plug makes a difference, ie bosch + series plugs should be avoided since there have been threads complain about misfires with this plug type. Wires should fit. And as far as your boulder pounding suspension check all of the rubber bushed mounting points. These typically get overlooked when doing routine maintainance and require a spray shot of silicon lube, if they are cracked and worn, then their cushioning properties are compromised and should be replaced...this is where polyurethane bushings are swapped in for the old rubber OEM bushings...

Also check your front ball joints, they can make the front suspension feel harsh if they are too loose...plus they can come apart at the wrong time and leave you stranded, ask any Dodge Ram/Dakota/Durango owner...
