I can see why a search would not turn up the results you would hope for. OBD codes are a letter followed by four numbers. So if you search for the exact thing you typed into the title, you would not turn up the proper results. P0410 is what you want to look for.

Diagnostic sheet:
P0410 - Secondary Air Injection System

Many other threads at your disposal through search.

Thanks for the info....what parts need replacing? Is this just coincidental with the whole tranny problems I have been having. Could I have done something to cause this replacing the hub ***'y?

Did you read any of that information? Please do some research into what other members have experienced as well as what is given in the diagnostic listing.

I do REALLY appreciate the hard work you do when I post questions...you obviously are a HUGE asset to the forum helping out hundreds....but I am on a HUGE time crunch here...I have to pass emissions on Sat along with working 40+ hours a week at least...If there is something I have to replace I will do it...I just need to know what I need to do to clear this code....can these parts be purchased at an auto parts store or are they dealer parts?
What do I need to purchase to remedy this problem?

Most of these parts can be bought from your local autoparts store. But as you can see in the link provided, there are many things that can cause that code to come up. A s.e.s. light does not tell you what part to change, it only points you in the right direction. In your case, it's the secondary air injection system (aka smog pump or air pump system) It could be the pump itself, it could be the pump relay, or the check valve, a clogged hose, or a blown fuse. You have to do the troubleshooting to find out exactly what the problem is.

So your problem and constraints means I should just tell you exactly what you should do when it is already covered in black and white on the forums? I do not follow this logic. But I am sure that your time is more important than mine.

Good luck with your problem.
