To continire the wheel bearings seem fine...just going to drive it until something happens i guess lol
It pulled to the right but i switched the two front tires and now it pulls to the left...found that issue.
WHen I had the tire off i decided to look at the spark plugs. They where brand new but the center passenger side one was not tight at all. It also appeared to be leaking as I could see carbon on it.
I tightened it and it felt tight but then got loose again...crap is it stripped? I kept tightening it and then i got real tight. Maybe this is why it was loose.
Unfortunately I still have a slight miss. Doesn't start to bad but it stumbles a little.
Once I get driving over 1k RPM it seems ok but still seems a little doggy. I did do a 10 foot 1 wheel burnout by powering braking it so it does ok i suppose.
I drove it for 30 mins.
If if I rev it up in neutral or park (over 3k) it will die once I let off the gas. It will start right back up.
Also noticed a slight liquid sound coming from the back of the engine. I can only hear it in the cab of the jimmy.
If I rev it up it kind of goes away.
When Im reversing at idle I almost hear a knocking/thud sound. I can feel it in the floor board. In drive I dont hear it. Once I hit the gas it goes away.
I climbed under the jimmy with a flash light and noticed ALOT of oil. Not pouring out but like it misted around and collected. I took off the front plastic shield by the oil filter and its up there too.
The oil goes from the drivers side body mount then about mid engine it covers both sides all the way back to the rear transmission brace that goes from frame to frame.
I also noticed a transmission bolt almost out and possibly one missing.
Crack in the starter housing
One small drip of antifreeze
There was no oil on the flywheel (from what I could see) but there was some on the inside housing.
There oil is everywhere and looks to of been leaking for a while.
Anything easy to look at? Possibly issues?
Its too cold out to pressure wash the under side at this time. So right now I can't see any areas it could be leaking.
Im thinking of reselling it and washing my hands of it.
I only have $800 into it and with it running and driving im sure I can get that back out of it.
Sad because its pretty decent shape.

Oil Leak: check all the oil pan bolts, especially the two front ones. probably front cover is leaking and with this being a 4wd not enough room to drop oil pan and replace front cover unless the front diff is lowered. Alot of work.
Rear main seal is also known to leak on these which is also alot of work to replace.
Coolant Leak: probably lower intake gaskets. As Captain wrote replace with FelPro set.
Broken Distributor Cap Screw:...yep very common. Replacement aluminum housing distributors are about $50 on ebay. Work great! Come with new non Delco cap and rotor which may have a short life...but so far so good on mine....may need to have a Delco cap and rotor on the standby though.
Rough Idle: probably the stripped plug causing low compression on that cylinder. Could also be O2 sensors, plugged-up cats, dirty EGR, bad fuel, leaking fuel pressure regulator, low output fuel pump, TPS, etc....the list goes on...would need to do additional troubleshooting before replacing parts.
Knocking Sound: engine/trans/transfer case mount(s), loose crossmember bolts, exhaust hangers, cats.
Liquid Sound: sounds like air in the cooling system and heater core. Should work itself out.
Just some thoughts. Good luck with it.
