Default Prestone Flush n' Fill Kit

Anyone ever use this? How would I use it with a flushing agent? Which heater hose does it get installed on in these trucks. Also, I cannot get the lower hose off or the radiator drain open. I don't want to try the radiator drain again because last time I almost broke it off. Can I still do a flush with this? I am looking to get 100% of the old coolant/junk out so I can convert to Prestone All Makes/All Models (NOT trying to start another Green vs. orange thread.) and put Royal Purple Purple Ice in the cooling system. Thanks.

Ive used the flush kit you cut into a heater core hose, I cut the one that is closer to the alternator that connects to the block with a metal screw in fitting. I flushed with the kit until i got clear water then dumped in the cleaner and ran it with cleaner like it said to on the cleaner. Then flushed that out with the kit again. You will have to pump or syphon water out if you cant open the petcock or remove the lower hose so you can get the right mixture when u add in straight coolant. Hopefully your water doesn't have many minerals since coolants dont like them.

Ok Thanks. Maybe I'll just get some distilled water from the store when I top it off with water.

Not wanting to splice into my hoses to add that T-adapter,

I took a 6" length of garden hose to attach into the T-adapter<-> heater core.

Standard 3/8" vanilla garden hose (busted up) and it worked like a charm. I just don't trust too many splices in my hoses.....
