Exclamation problem with brakes again.

I got a code for a bad LF wheel speed sensor and a bad brake light switch. my brakes lock up now every now and then and i pulled tha abs fuse until i can get a new speed sensor. I need to know why it locks up and if the speed sensor can cause the brake light switch to not work properly or if the two are just bad and have nothing to do with each other. I tried ordering a new speed sensor thru carquest thru my high school shop but it has been on backorder for 2 months, anyone know a site that is cheap but has decent products? Any help would be great. Thanks

Did you try pulling your brakes apart and cleaning everything real well and reasembling them to see if it's just not reading due to being dirty or rusted?

i have cleaned them when ever i take my wheels off but i worked on a durango in auto class and replaced a brake light switch and that is inside the vehicle either on the pedal itsself or in front of it on a bracket.

If it locks up it sounds like the speed sensor stopped working all together, as for the brake light switch it only controls your brake lights. Mine was bad when I bought it, it would make the brake lights flicker on and of at any pedal movement.
