I have a weird issue.

With interior lights on auto (dome light override switch, OUT), auto locks when driving work, but interior lights come on when the locks engage

With interior lights on auto (dome light override switch, OUT), while holding down the locks, the interior lights will come on. When I let go, they turn off.

With interior lights on disable (dome light override switch, IN), auto locks do not work when driving, interior lights stay off.

I hope there isn't some messed up wiring I need to trace, I'm not good with that.

You could trace circuits for days, or use a bi-directional scan tool capable of commanding BCM, (Body Control Module) functions and locate the problem in a matter of minutes. Might have to bite the bullet on this one and take it to a reputable shop.
