Default problems...

hey everyone. i have a 2000 blazer with 100,000 miles. the list goes on but i can't let my baby go being its my first car. On the dash the check engine light came up and the fuel gauge is on E therefore the low fuel light is on. I had the fuel pump replaced and checked my fuses and everything seems to be fine. so i'm stuck to using my trip odometer. i was told it was the clusters?? Also, the lights on my instrument panels and on my dash do not light up at all unless i set the dome switch to a certain postion and they stay on, at least until i turn off the dome. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated because ?? thanks.

Are there any stored codes? If so, what are they?

Did the fuel gauge problems start before or after the pump was replaced?
